Reboot Monkey in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal is seeking an experienced data center technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier facilities. You will install, configure, and migrate hardware, perform structured cabling, rack servers, and manage cross-connects while coordinating with NOC and client teams.

Qualificações

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills incl. Cat5e/6/6a and fiber types.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on raised floors.
• On-site work with own transportation.
• Professional English communication.
• DCIM and ticketing systems familiarity preferred.
• Colocation providers familiarity preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
