Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Officer, LIMS to join the Quality Control department on-site in Portugal. The role reports to the Sr. Supervisor, Quality Control and involves configuring and maintaining laboratory software solutions used across multiple labs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field, with experience in LIMS/CDS/ELN, and a strong understanding of GxP and data integrity. Strong team players with attention to detail will thrive in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise systems administration or support.
• Experience with LIMS, CDS, ELN or other laboratory applications is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and Data Integrity is desirable.
• Experience in application management, database administration, and system integrations.
• Ability to work in a team and with others in a structured regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Introduces/Creates on the software the specifications for raw materials, packaging, finished products and stability samples used by the laboratories.
• Creates/updates and validates new analyses for laboratory use on the software.
• Resolves daily issues and questions on the software for different laboratories/users.
• Generates Change Control requests on Ivanti for new users.
• Writes/reviews SOPs upon request.
• Manages LIMS projects in parallel with Columbus site.

Hikma, intends to recruit an Officer, LIMS (m/f) to integrate Quality Control Department, on-site work reporting to the Sr. Supervisor, Quality Control

Main Responsibilities

• Introduces / Creates on the software the effective specifications for raw materials, packaging material, finished products and stability samples used by the different laboratories.
• Creates / updates and validates new analysis necessary for laboratory use on the software.
• Solves daily issues, problems, and doubts on the software for the different laboratories / users.
• Generates Change Control requests on Ivanti system for new users requested.
• Writes / Review SOPs upon request.
• Manage LIMS projects in parallel with Columbus (COL) site.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• A background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or laboratory-related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in the administration and/or support of enterprise systems.
• Experience with LIMS, CDS, ELN, or other laboratory applications will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and Data Integrity principles is desirable.
• Experience in application management, database administration, and system integrations.
• Capability of working with others and as part of a team is essential
• Good problem-solving techniques is needed to make necessary adjustments and to prioritize tasks
• Exhibited ability to work in a highly structured regulated environment, including the capacity to follow directions, have attention to detail, meet deadlines and multi-task.
