Körber Supply Chain is seeking a PLC Engineer - Developer/Commissioner Hub for the Lisbon area. The role focuses on developing and placing Siemens PLC software into operation for logistic systems, with hands-on commissioning and testing.

The candidate should have 1 year of automation experience, be proficient in Step 7 and TIA Portal, and understand safe PLC concepts and PROFINET networking. Occasional travel is required.

Qualificações

• Degree in electronics/automation or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in automation or commissioning.
• Experience programming Siemens PLCs using Step 7 and TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of safe PLC concepts and safety standards.
• Familiar with PROFIBUS, AS-i and PROFINET and networking with SCALANCE equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and apply PLC software for logistic systems.

• Commission systems and perform internal testing.
• Availability for recurrent business trips 6-8 months per year (6 weeks each).

Job Description

• Develop, apply already developed PLC software and place in operation logistic systems;
• Programmingand development is based in Siemens PLC's using Tia Portal;
• Commissioning systems based in the software;
• Perform internal testing.

Applicant's Profile

• Ideally, a degree in electronic/ automation or professional degree in automation or similar;
• At least 1 year of professional experience in the automation and/or commissioning;
• Programmingexperience Siemens PLC's, using Step 7 and TiaPortal, knowledge of other systems is valuable;
• Knowledge in implementation of safe PLC's, and safe concept;
• Knowledge of different Bus systems, PROFIBUS, AS-i and PROFINET as well and network topologies using SCALANCE equipment;
• Ability to read and comment electrical schematics.

Availability for recurrent business trips 6-8 months per year. (duration of 6 weeks/each).
