Caixa Mágica Software em Lisboa busca um Engenheiro de Infraestrutura com foco em confiabilidade e escalabilidade de infra-estrutura de servidores. O profissional atuará em datacenters, tarefas SysOps, backend engineering e desenho arquitetural de componentes, com experiência em nuvem pública (AWS) e ferramentas de automação.

É desejável domínio de Terraform, Docker e AWS ECS, bem como conhecimento de monitorização (Grafana/CloudWatch) e redes avançadas.

Qualificações

• 3+ anos de experiência a suportar serviços de produção expostos à internet e sistemas distribuídos.
• Experiência com cloud público (AWS), especialmente ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Route53, ASG, CloudFront, ALB, IAM, Lambda@edge.
• Experiência com nginx/apache e clusters de bancos de dados (PostgreSQL) em configuração mestre-escravo.
• Experiência com Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experiência com containerização (Docker e AWS ECS).
• Conhecimento de software de monitorização e automação (Nagios/check_mk, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Graylog, Elk Stack…).
• Experiência com ferramentas de gestão de configuração (Ansible ou equivalente).
• Conhecimento de escalabilidade, sharding, clustering, balanceamento (nginx, varnish…), armazenamento (NFS) e cache (memcached, Redis…).
• Experiência com CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Forte conhecimento de protocolos de rede (http(s), tcp/ip, udp, ssh…).
• Fluência em pelo menos uma linguagem de script (bash, python, perl…).
• Fortes capacidades de resolução de problemas de rede e de aplicações em várias linguagens (PHP, Javascript, Python…).
• Conhecimento de Cloudflare é uma mais-valia.

Responsabilidades

• Fornecer suporte à infraestrutura de servidor, distribuída entre vários datacenters.
• Assegurar confiabilidade e sustentabilidade da plataforma, incluindo tarefas SysOps e backend engineering.
• Contribuir para o desenho arquitetural dos componentes de backend e assegurar escalabilidade.
• Aprimorar configuração de front-end servers e gerenciar parte da operação de rede.

Detalhe da Oferta:

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer that will be responsible for providing support to server infrastructure, divided between several datacenters. We look for highly technical professionals able to ensure reliability and sustainability of platform. Besides normal SysOps tasks and backend engineering, the Infrastructure Engineer is also responsible for assuring scalability of our backend components, tuning of the frontend servers and contributing to the overall architectural design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting internet-facing production services and distributed systems;
• Experience with public cloud (AWS), mainly ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Route53, ASG, CloudFront, ALB, IAM, Lambda@edge;
• Experience with webserver (nginx, apache) and databases clusters (Postgresql) in master-slave configuration;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform);
• Experience with containerization (Docker and AWS ECS);
• Knowledge of open source software for monitoring and automatization (Nagios/check_mk, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Graylog, Elk Stack…);
• Experience with configuration management tools (ansible or other);
• Awareness and experience on scalability issues and knowledge of sharding, clustering, balancing (nginx, varnish, ...), as well as storage (nfs) and cache (memcached, redis, …);
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins);
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (http(s), tcp/ip, udp, ssh, …);
• Fluent in at least one scripting language, 2 preferred (bash, python, perl, …)
• Strong networking and applicational problem solving capacities in multiple languages (PHP, Javascript, Python, etc...);
• Experience in Cloudflare is a plus;
• BA/BS degree in computer science or relevant industry experience Bonus
