EDP in Guarda is seeking a Networks Operations & Maintenance Electrician to support MT, BT, and IP networks, including initial intervention on HV assets and remote systems. The role requires on-call availability, travel willingness, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

You will work in the EMC MV/LV North area within the E-Redes Networks Platform, contributing to maintenance plans, vegetation management coordination, and timely network interventions.

Qualificações

• Must have completed a technical course in Electrical Installations or related fields.
• Experience with LV/MV networks is valued.
• Must be able to work within On-call rotation and travel.
• Strong safety, environment and quality mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide initial intervention on LV and MV networks and on HV assets.
• Perform maintenance and preventive works on MT, BT, and IP networks.
• Coordinate with vegetation management and other teams for plan execution.
• Complete scheduled maneuvers and substation tasks.
• Assist in remote control system operations in substations.

The EMC MV/LV North of the E-Redes Networks Platform, whose mission is to guarantee service to MV, LV and IP network assets, managing resources and operational models to ensure the construction and maintenance of assets and compliance with approved plans and budgets, as well as providing operational support for the management of relations with municipalities under the functional coordination of local authority departments, is looking to strengthen its team in the Maintenance area – Guarda:

What you will do:

• Ensure assistance, under normal and disrupted conditions, to MT, BT, and IP networks and initial intervention on HV network assets;
• Ensure initial intervention on substation remote control systems and MT remote control systems;
• Guarantee the execution of works resulting from the operation and maintenance of MT, BT, and IP networks;
• Guarantee the execution of scheduled maneuvers and assignments in substations and HV and MT networks, and the execution of preventive maintenance on the network;
• Ensure the execution of the vegetation management plan associated with MT, BT, and IP networks (fuel management strips and protection zones), in close coordination with the vegetation management area.

What are we looking for:

• Training at the 12th Year, Technological and Professional Courses in Electrical Installations Technician; Electrical Networks Technician and Electrical Installations, Electricity, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related areas;
• Professional experience between 2 and 5 years as a technical staff member in operational functions;
• Experience/knowledge of LV and MV networks is valued;
• Basic knowledge of computer navigation (Windows) and Office tools (mandatory);
• Availability to join the On-call Availability Schedule for LV and MV network assistance, outside normal working hours (mandatory);
• Driving license and willingness to travel frequently (mandatory);
• Commitment to Safety, Environment and Quality, Collaboration and Networking Skills, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Analytical Ability, Rigor and Attention to Detail are crucial to the performance of the job.
