Elastic is shaping the future of application networking within Elastic Cloud, focusing on Ingress, security controls, private connectivity, and DNS management. You’ll work across engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable interactions with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and the Elastic stack.

You will design scalable features, analyze performance, and drive observability. Collaboration with diverse teams and the use of AI tools to boost code quality are central to this role.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience developing software in Golang with an emphasis on networking components that can scale.
• Experience working with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane).
• Knowledge with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking ecosystem.
• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance code functionality and maintainability.
• Facilitated knowledge-sharing initiatives that promoted best practices in application networking across teams.
• Care about the quality of work shipped - testing, observability, and operability.
• Curiosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scale.
• A collaborative approach: welcoming feedback, sharing context, learning from teammates

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable networking features; integrate security controls and refactor code while leveraging AI tools.
• Analyze performance metrics, run load tests, and implement monitoring; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and tackle networking issues; perform root cause analysis and document troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to fulfill Application Networking requirements
