Dellent is seeking a Network Security Automation Engineer to join our Porto team in a hybrid model. You will design automation frameworks and develop multi-vendor provisioning using Ansible, Python, and IaC practices in a European market context.

You will work on network monitoring, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure. The role offers growth in a multicultural, client-facing environment.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience in network automation with Python and related libraries.
• Solid experience with Ansible, Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI/gNOI and REST APIs in multi-vendor networks.
• Experience with Linux administration (Red Hat) and scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automation frameworks for multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet).
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, custom plugins, dynamic inventories, and Jinja2 templates.
• Implement automated CI/CD workflows for network infrastructure with pre-change validation and automated testing.
• Develop network monitoring and automated remediation of common issues.
• Contribute to data center, disaster recovery, and high-availability automation and documentation.

We are seeking aNetwork Security AutomationEngineerto join our team inPorto (hybrid model).

Here you'll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work in a project for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues and provides technology and managed services to third parties. You'll also be able to experience a multicultural environment with a strong people culture, being on a team that is spread across several European countries, such as Denmark, Italy, Norway and Portugal.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience innetwork automation, with advanced knowledge ofPython, including networking libraries such as Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, or Nornir, as well as Bash/Shell, YAML/JSON, Jinja2, and Ansible.
• Solid experience withAnsible, Git, and CI/CD toolssuch as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including Infrastructure as Code and automated testing/deployment workflows.
• Strong knowledge ofnetwork management and automation protocols, including NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, gNOI, and vendor-specific REST APIs, combined with a good understanding of Layer 2/3 networking protocols.
• Experience withnetwork monitoring and observability, including SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, streaming telemetry, log analysis and correlation. Knowledge of tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, Prometheus, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Solid experience withLinux system administration, preferably Red Hat Linux, including shell scripting, system configuration, performance tuning, and integration with network automation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation frameworks and reusable solutions formulti-vendor network and security environments, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Develop and maintainAnsible playbooks, roles, collections, custom plugins, dynamic inventories, and Jinja2 templatesto automate device provisioning, configuration management, and network changes.
• Implement automatedCI/CD workflows for network infrastructure, including pre-change validation, automated testing, rollback mechanisms, post-change verification, and Git-based Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Develop network monitoring and validation solutions, including automated health checks, performance monitoring, alerting, state validation, and automated remediation of common network issues.
• Contribute to the automation ofdata center, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments, including VXLAN-EVPN provisioning, traffic engineering, configuration backup and restoration, failover validation, documentation, and operational reporting.
