Job summary

Wire IT, based in Portugal, seeks a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role in Lisbon or Tomar. You will design and build RESTful APIs, migrate legacy .NET Framework applications, and develop front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and backend solutions using .NET.

Role:

Senior .NET Full Stack Developer

Location:

Hybrid (1 day per week in the office), Lisbon and/or Tomar, Portugal

Required skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and backend solutions using .NET.
• Experience working with legacy .NET Framework 4.6.2 and migrating applications to modern .NET versions, such as .NET 8 or .NET 10.
• Experience building front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server, including database procedures and query optimisation.
• Knowledge of API architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security.
• Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs and background services.
• Proficiency in English.
• Portuguese nationality.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Experience developing WCF and SOAP-based services.
• Knowledge of deployment processes, release management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and containerised environments, such as OpenShift.
• Experience with Razor, Knockout, Bootstrap, and MVC frameworks.
• Previous experience in the banking sector.
