Next Engineering in Portugal is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our international agile delivery team in Porto/Lisbon (hybrid). You will design and develop REST APIs and microservices with C# and .NET Core, build cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

5+ years of hands-on experience are required, with strong SQL Server/EF Core knowledge. The role offers a competitive base salary of 1400–2000 EUR, food allowance and flexible benefits,

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in software development with C# and .NET.
• Solid experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core development.
• Design and development of REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based development.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, SQL.
• Understanding of microservices, asynchronous communication and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit and integration testing in .NET, SOLID principles, design patterns.

• +5 years of experience in software development using C# and .NET;
• Solid experience with modern .NET / ASP.NET Core development;
• Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices;
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development;
• Competences with relevant Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure SQL or equivalent services;
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, asynchronous communication and distributed systems;
• Experience with relational databases and data access technologies such as SQL Server and Entity Framework Core;
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Boards and CI/CD Pipelines;
• Strong understanding of Git and modern branching/version-control practices;
• Experience implementing unit and integration testing within .NET solutions;
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID principles, design patterns and clean code practices;
• Ability to work effectively within an international Agile delivery environment;
