SBM Offshore N.V. procura um Engenheiro Naval para assegurar que os cascos e unidades associadas de navios sob contrato sejam mantidos em condições ótimas ao menor custo, durante o ciclo de vida do ativo, conforme padrões internacionais.

O candidato ideal tem formação em Engenharia Naval e experiência com inspeções, planejamento de manutenção e uso de ferramentas CAD, com foco na integridade estrutural e na conformidade com as regras de Classe. Porto, regime integral.

Qualificações

• Diploma em Engenharia Naval (inclui estabilidade, estruturas navais e arquitetura naval).
• Conhecimento sólido de estruturas marinhas e sistemas, reparos estruturais, normas internacionais (IACS & Class).
• Experiência com CAD e outras ferramentas de engenharia.

Responsabilidades

• Definir o Escopo de Trabalho para Inspeções de Tanques e Compartimentos com base na documentação de projeto, RBI, regras de Classe e exigências IACS.
• Construir um plano de cronograma de inspeção para as unidades com a maior otimização e garantir conformidade com requisitos de Classe e Legislação.
• Assegurar que o plano de inspeção esteja registrado no planeamento da Unidade e que atividades de Manutenção Planejada (PM) e Manutenção Corretiva (CM) sejam registradas no CMMS.
• Acompanhar atividades de pré-inspeção a bordo para coordenar o início e término das atividades do fornecedor.
• Analisar relatórios de inspeção fornecidos pelos fornecedores e manter atualizado o banco de dados de manutenção da casco, propondo planos de reparo quando necessário.
• Fornecer suporte técnico à equipe de inspeção estrutural e ao time de reparos/fornecedores.
• Comparecer a bordo para acompanhar inspeções e verificar, no local, achados críticos e estruturas críticas.
• Encontrar soluções técnicas para qualquer tipo de problema estrutural decorrente de inspeção ou falha.
• Dar suporte às equipes de operações offshore e onshore com conselhos sobre integridade do casco.
• Fornecer suporte técnico na avaliação e qualificação de fornecedores.
• Acompanhar o nível de qualidade dos serviços prestados pelos fornecedores.
• Acompanhar o orçamento de inspeções (tanques e compartimentos) para as campanhas anuais.
• Estabelecer e manter relações eficazes com as partes interessadas do projeto.

Purpose

• As Naval Engineer, you ensure that the Company Marine Unit's hulls (and hull appendixes) and pump/engine rooms structures in your dedicated vessel(s) are prepared and maintained in a good and reliable condition by the most economical combination of investment and maintenance throughout the projected lifetime, taking into account specific site and contract conditions.

Responsibilities

• You define the Scope of Work for Inspection Surveys for each tank and compartment based on the design documentation, RBI plan, Class Rules and IACS requirement for the vendor's execution onboard.
• You build an inspection schedule plan for the units in the most optimized way and grant compliance with the Class & Statutory requirements for tanks & compartments.
• You ensure that the Inspection plan is captured properly in the Unit plannning and that all Planned Maintenance (PM) activities and Coreective Maintenance (CM) are captured in Company Maintenance Sytem (CMMS).
• You follow pre-inspection activities onboard allowing to coordinate the beginning and completion of the vendors activities.
• You analyze the inspection reports provided by vendors and keep update the Hull maintenance database and propose, every time is required, the necessary repair plan to be prepared following the best practices and International & Company standards.
• You provide technical support for structural inspection and repair team/ vendor.
• You board the units to follow inspections, on random basis, to verify at site critical findings and/or critical structures/ tanks.
• In case of need, you find technical solutions for any type of structural issue that may arise as result of an inspection or structural failure.
• You support the offshore and onshore operations teams providing advice on hull integrity.
• You provide technical support on vendors' evaluation and qualification.
• You follow up on the quality level of the services provided by the vendors.
• You follow up the budget estimation for the inspections (tanks and compartments ) for the yearly campaigns.
• You establish and maintain effective working relationships with project stakeholders.

Education

• Degree in Naval Architecture (including stability, naval structure and naval architecture) or related degree

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in naval engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in Class Society as surveyor is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of marine structures & systems, structural repair, International Standards (IACS & Class), materials, welding, planning and scheduling activities, and ship stability.
• Good Knowledge in CAD software and other engineering tools.
