Job summary
VASS is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to join its Portugal team. You will analyse requirements, design and build MuleSoft integrations and APIs, and enable API-led connectivity across cloud and on-premise systems. You will create documentation, perform tests, and support deployments, working with stakeholders and architects to deliver robust integrations.
The role emphasizes hands-on MuleSoft expertise, API security, and CI/CD practices within a dynamic, global digital transformation environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a MuleSoft Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
- Solid knowledge of DataWeave and API-led architecture.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with API security standards and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and refine business and technical requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs
- Build and implement API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft
- Develop integrations between cloud and on-premise systems
- Create technical documentation and integration specifications
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing activities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise MuleSoft applications
- Support UAT, deployments, and production issue resolution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams
