iBET Portugal offers a Research Fellowship (MSc) within the NabFABULOUS project to develop tools for cryo-EM characterization of flexible protein complexes. The role emphasizes autonomous lab work, English proficiency, and potential PhD continuation.

The 24-month fellowship is tied to the project with regular results presentation and collaboration with industry partners. The successful candidate will contribute to protein expression and purification, biophysical analyses, and structural biology

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Biochemistry for Health, Biological Engineering, Clinical Biochemistry, or related areas.
• Teamwork spirit, critical thinking and a strong sense of responsibility will be highly valued.
• Experience in Protein expression and purification will be valued.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Capable of working in the lab autonomously and with minimum supervision.
• Enthusiasm to proceed for a PhD.

Responsabilidades

• Develop modular tools to characterize protein complexes by cryo-EM.
• Characterize protein preparations and protein-protein interactions.
• Collaborate with the project team and pharma partners.
• Present results and progress within the lab and project meetings.
