Job summary

Mollie’s Lisbon hub hosts a hands-on Machine Learning Platform Engineer role within the Data Domain. You will write Python and Terraform daily, build scalable ML solutions, and help productionize models across Mollie’s domains from risk to payments.

You will join a distributed team with Amsterdam and Lisbon, embracing remote and hybrid work while advancing our ML tooling and GenAI capabilities. Expect strong collaboration and continuous growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production.
• Strong MLOps principles: experiment tracking, reproducibility, pipeline automation, model versioning, and monitoring in production.
• Strong Python programming with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, LightGBM, and MLflow.
• Familiarity with a major cloud platform, preferably GCP.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Kubeflow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ML Platform Engineers and scientists to deliver scalable ML solutions.
• Deploy and operationalize ML models to production in partnership with ML Scientists.
• Enhance and maintain the cloud-based ML Platform on GCP, writing production-grade Python and Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML model training and inference.
• Deploy, manage, and scale model serving endpoints on Kubernetes for low-latency inference.
• Develop and host AI tooling and support generative AI capabilities.
• Champion MLOps best practices: versioning, experiment tracking, data validation, and retraining.
• Ensure platform reliability with observability, monitoring, and alerts for infra and models.
• Maintain open-source tooling such as LiteLLM and LibreChat.
