Welvaart is designing and delivering scalable data engineering solutions on Azure to enable reliable data access, analytics, and business insights. The project includes building data pipelines, data models, and Power BI visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.

We seek professionals with 4+ years in data engineering, hands-on Azure experience (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory) and proficiency in Python/Scala. Hybrid work arrangement in Lisbon is offered.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in Data Engineering with large data volumes.
• Experience with Azure data services (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Strong Python/Scala/Pyspark programming skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI visualizations is a plus.

Project

Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions on Azure to enable reliable data access, advanced analytics, and business insights.The project includes building data pipelines, data models, and Power BI visualizations to support data‑driven decision‑making

Role

• Implementation of technical solutions
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and T-SQL relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics
• Knowledge of Power BI to enhance better data visualizations to the clients.

We are looking for

• Existing experience in Data Engineering, ideally with large volumes of data (working with T‑SQL) more than 4 years
• Experience in working with the latest Azure technologies, such as; Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen 2), Cosmos DB
• Understanding of software engineering tools and concepts including coding experience in languages such as Python, Scala, or Pyspark
• Confident communicator who is able to report progress and challenges effectively
• Nice‑to‑have knowledge of Power BI solutions.
• Hybrid in Lisbon
