BearingPoint is seeking a Microsoft Modern Work Senior Consultant to advise German-speaking clients across Europe on Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint and Security & Compliance. You will shape modern workplace strategies, support migrations, and design cloud-enabled solutions with Azure and Power Platform.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand requirements, propose configurations, and guide projects through delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Experience designing enterprise solutions based on Microsoft 365 or comparable platforms.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on Microsoft 365 and Modern Work, supporting adoption of Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and OneDrive.
• Develop IT and cloud strategies for optimal use of the Microsoft product portfolio.
• Design and support migrations to the Microsoft Cloud, including tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Bring forward-looking topics into projects, such as Copilot, adoption and change, and Security & Compliance.
• Gather and analyse requirements, design optimized business processes, and recommend configurations to minimize customization.
• Support clients through all project phases, from requirements analysis to rollout, using Agile and Scrum.
• Take on partial project responsibility over time and contribute to proposals and consulting portfolio expansion.

In addition, our team develops integrated front‑end and back‑end applications using the Power Platform and Azure services, ensuring intuitive, mobile‑friendly access to business applications and end‑to‑end process integration across the Microsoft ecosystem.

About The Role

As a Microsoft Modern Work Senior Consultant, you work closely with our German‑speaking clients across Europe to shape the modern workplace – from Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot through Teams, SharePoint and Security & Compliance to complex cloud and tenant migrations. You advise clients, support every phase of a project, and draw on your knowledge of the broader Microsoft ecosystem to design solutions that create lasting value.

Primary Functions And Tasks

• Advise clients on Microsoft 365 and Modern Work, supporting the adoption and further development of Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and OneDrive.
• Develop IT and cloud strategies for the optimal use of the Microsoft product portfolio, aligned with each client's IT landscape and business strategy.
• Design and support migrations to the Microsoft Cloud, including tenant‑to‑tenant and Microsoft 365 migrations (for example with tools such as Quest On Demand Migration).
• Bring forward‑looking topics into your projects, such as Microsoft Copilot, adoption and change, and Security & Compliance (for example Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID and Intune).
• Gather and analyse requirements, design optimised business processes, and recommend configurations that keep customisation to a minimum.
• Support clients through all project phases, from requirements analysis to roll‑out, applying established methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Take on partial project responsibility over time and contribute to proposals and to the further development of our consulting portfolio.

We are looking for:

• A completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, (business) informatics or a comparable field; career changers with relevant practical experience are equally welcome.
• Excellent German and good English language skills – this is a German‑speaking role.
• Practical experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions based on Microsoft 365 or comparable platforms.
• The ability to articulate the functional and technical infrastructure of Microsoft 365 solutions and to explain complex technical concepts in clear, non‑technical language.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally within the usual project scope to advise our clients on site.

Nice to have (not a must)

• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Microsoft 365 and Modern Work, Microsoft Azure, Security & Compliance, Microsoft Copilot, or migrations (for example Quest).
• Experience designing Microsoft‑based IT architectures and integrating IT systems, including data integration and migration.
• Working knowledge of further Microsoft products such as on‑premises services and Dynamics 365.
• Microsoft certifications (for example MS-102, AZ-104 or SC-900) – or the motivation to obtain them with us.
