Ytech in Portugal is seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect with expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, implement and govern an enterprise-scale data and AI platform. This architecture-focused role emphasizes security, scalability and operational excellence.

You will define architectural standards, integrate Fabric with the wider Azure ecosystem, and guide development, security, data and business teams.

Qualificações

• Main responsibility is to define and ensure the technical architecture with a focus on Azure, security, governance, scalability, performance and operational excellence.
• Fabric is an important part of the ecosystem, but the core is Azure architecture design and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve the architecture of enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Define how Microsoft Fabric integrates with the wider Azure ecosystem.
• Establish architectural standards, technical guidelines and best practices.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient and high-performing cloud solutions.
• Define governance frameworks, security models, roles and permissions.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention policies.
• Design environment strategies across Development, Test, UAT and Production.
• Define monitoring, automation, capacity management and performance optimization strategies.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, security and operational excellence.
• Support technical decision-making and collaborate with engineering, security, data and business teams.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.

We are looking for a Microsoft Azure Architect with experience in Microsoft Fabric to join a team responsible for designing, implementing and evolving a Microsoft AI & Data platform.

This is an architecture-focused position, not a Data Engineer role.

The main responsibility will be to define and ensure the technical architecture of the platform, with a strong focus on Azure, security, governance, scalability, performance and operational excellence.

Microsoft Fabric is an important part of the ecosystem, but the core of the role is the design and governance of the overall Azure architecture.
