Job summary

Work in USA in Funchal is seeking a skilled Metal Worker to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures. You will read blueprints, measure parts and join components using welding equipment, operating related machinery.

This full-time role requires strong welding knowledge (MIG/TIG/Stick), physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to relocate if not based in Funchal. Preference for candidates with work visa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and working with various hand tools
• Strong knowledge of different welding techniques MIG TIG stick
• Ability to operate machinery such as saws and presses
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the layout and procedures for fabrication
• Measure cut shape and join metal parts using welding equipment or other tools
• Operate machinery such as saws shears and presses to cut and shape metal pieces
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Maintain clean and organized work area
