The role involves CAD modeling, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, around 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD systems. Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese are required. Start as soon as possible.

Qualificações

• Around 5 years of experience in mechanical design or analysis in renewable energy sector.
• Experience in complex marine engineering projects is a plus.

Mechanical Engineer

Company Introduction: Gazelle Wind Power is an innovative offshore engineering company developing next-generation floating wind platforms designed to accelerate the global energy transition.

Overview

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components within Gazelle’s platforms. This includes developing CAD models, conducting structural and thermal analyses, and overseeing fabrication and installation. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Around 5 years of experience in mechanical design or analysis within the renewable energy sector (offshore wind preferred).
• Experience in complex marine engineering projects and fabrication/construction yards is an advantage.
• Proficiency in CAD systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) and MS Office.
• Familiarity with Python and MATLAB.
• Good understanding of FOW codes and standards.
• Knowledge of advanced materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
