A multinational engineering firm is seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical completion Technicians for a project in Denmark. Candidates must have a background in the wind energy sector and expertise in electrical installations, including cable connections and testing. Mechanical and Electrical completion Technicians (Worldwide Projects)

ROLE AND LOCATION

We are strengthening our HV operational team with Technicians for Mechanical and Electrical completion tasks on a VESTAS project that will take place in Denmark.

The chosen candidates need to have experience in the wind energy sector and electrical installation knowledge.

Although we are recruiting for a specific project, the candidates should have availability for all HV projects – future and ongoing.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

• Completion of all electrical work on the tower;
• Cable connections and also installation of sensors, junction boxes, and auxiliary equipment;
• Basic continuity and functionality tests;
• Final electrical connections in the upper module, including wiring for the nacelle, sensors, and auxiliary systems;
• Identification of pending items (punch items) and correction of minor non-conformities;
• Final mechanical assembly and electrical checks in the lower module;
• Components fixation, torqueing, alignment, and completion of electrical connections.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience in the wind energy sector – mandatory;
• Experience in electrical installation tasks like cable pulling, cable connection, and cable testing – mandatory;
• Knowledge on how to use equipment like a multimeter/ohmmeter – mandatory;
• Experience with VESTAS technology will be a plus;
• English: Minimum level – B1 (will be assessed during the recruitment process).
