SEA.AI is seeking an AI Vision Engineer (m/w/d) to advance perception on vessel platforms. You will work on embedded hardware, improve the perception stack, and drive end-to-end improvements from data to model to product.

The role requires 5+ years in AI/CV, strong software fundamentals, and experience deploying models on constrained hardware with reproducible workflows. English fluency is essential, with other languages a plus.

Qualificações

• Five plus years of AI/Computer Vision work with real results.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and code quality.
• Experience adapting open-source solutions to new domains.
• Solid grounding in camera models, calibration and multi-view geometry.
• Experience deploying models on embedded hardware with real-time constraints.
• Demonstrated ability to make ML reproducible through workflows and versioned data.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and push the limits of the computer vision pipeline (NNs, MOT, geometry, sensor fusion).
• Automate data-to-model improvements to ship updates faster.
• Explore frontier models (VLMs) from labeling to internal tools and product ideas.
• Elevate the team’s CV capabilities by mapping problems to proven techniques.
• Own technical planning and delivery for multi-sprint initiatives with risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with hardware, product and AI teams to keep the system in view.
• Ensure ML reproducibility through disciplined workflows and versioned data.
