BorgWarner in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, is seeking an MQT to provide technical and documental support for production lines during industrialization of new products and current manufacturing. You will collaborate to develop quality documentation and assist in layout definitions.

The role involves preparing testing results and quality documentation, supporting continuous improvement, and assisting with maintenance tools and machine specifications while upholding safety and environmental

Qualificações

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years related work experience is a plus.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge.
• Problem Solving (5W; Ishikawa; PDCA; 8D) (valued).
• Knowledge of quality tools.
• Knowledge of standard IATF.
• Good English skills.
• Proficiency in Portuguese.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in the development of quality and support documentation to production processes.

• Prepare support documentation with the results of the testing phase and Quality documentation for new products.
• Assist in continuous improvement process.
• Support the Maintenance Management Tools (Preventive / Predictive).
• Support the development of the machines specifications.
• Respect safety and cleanliness rules of the workplace.
• Comply with safety standards, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental protection.
• Comply with organization rules and Ethics Code.

Job Purpose

The MQT provides technical and documental support, in order to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the production lines, in the industrialization of new products and current production.

Viana do Castelo, Turbos & Thermal Technologies plant

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the development of quality and support documentation to production processes


• Support the definition of production layout

• Support the Maintenance Management Tools (Preventive / Predictive)

• Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when needs or service convenience warranted for a period of time defined as necessary

Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar


• Master’s degree preferred


• 0-2 years related work experience is a plus
