Job summary

Dedale Intelligence is seeking a driven analyst to conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies. You will perform strategic due diligence, financial analysis, and develop insights through quantitative modelling and expert interviews.

You will collaborate with experienced peers and contribute to multi-million investment decisions. The role emphasizes English-language communication, rigorous analysis, and the ability to grow within a strong, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate from a Tier 1 engineering/business school with strong quantitative skills.
• 3–4 years of experience in strategy, finance, and business with internships in finance/tech/startup or corporate company.
• Excellent Excel skills and advanced analytical abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.

Your Role:

1. Conduct deep fundamental research on software & technology companies
2. Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned software & technology companies
3. Leverage both quantitative modelling and qualitative insights generation through expert interviews
4. Collaborate with a strong team of peers and experienced ex-Tier 1 management consultants contributing to the research
5. Deliver high quality and valuable deliverables that will support decision making on multi-million investments
6. Communicate your research findings internally and externally
7. Naturally grow in the team to take on more and more responsibilities and develop yourself as a strong professional
8. Daily monitoring of the already identified companies
9. Preparation of financial research and analysis, strategic screening and communication materials for our members
10. Leading interviews in English with professional experts
11. Support on process improvement and new companies screening

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits: You are Tier 1 engineering/business school young graduate, specializing in Business/Finance/Corporate business/Corporate finance/Engineering/Strategy You have 3-4 years of relevant experience in strategy, finance, and business (with several internships in finance/tech/startup or corporate company) You have excellent analysis skills and excellent Excel skill You have a strong strategic thinking mind - you know how to look for key inputs and do smart correlations Strong oral and written communication skills in English is a must, and French, German, or Italian language ability is a plus.
