Fever is seeking an experienced lawyer to join our international In‑House Legal Team as Legal Counsel – Portugal, based in Lisbon with some flexibility for start dates. You will provide primary legal support for operations in Brazil and drive Fever’s expansion across Portugal and the Iberian market.

You will draft Portuguese and English commercial contracts, assist with negotiations, regulatory compliance, governance, and collaborate across departments to support growth in the region.

• Practice lawyer with 5+ years of post‑qualification experience in a Portuguese‑speaking jurisdiction.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and revise Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP documentation and related legal documents.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating deals and documents.
• Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters.
• Assist with knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including preparing templates, guides, and processes.
• Participate in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as needed.
• Upskill, support, and contribute to the growth of other team members.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our international In‑House Legal Team and provide primary legal support for operations in Brazil. Reporting to the Lead Counsel – Iberia, you will help drive Fever’s expansion across Portugal and the wider Iberian market.

As Legal Counsel – Portugal, you will deliver proactive, business‑oriented advice on commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters. You will work closely with Business Development, Tax, Finance, Product, Originals, and Operations to provide pragmatic, solution‑oriented legal guidance that supports growth across the region.

What You’ll Do

• Draft and revise Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP documentation and related legal documents.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating deals and documents.
• Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters.
• Assist with knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including preparing templates, guides, and processes.
• Participate in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as needed.
• Upskill, support, and contribute to the growth of other team members.

Who You Are

• Practice lawyer with 5+ years of post‑qualification experience in a Portuguese‑speaking jurisdiction.
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English; proficiency in an additional language is a strong plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
• Team player who is adaptable, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast‑moving environment.

Location: Lisbon (some flexibility for starting dates).
