ITDS in Porto is seeking a Lead Developer (Java/Kotlin, Angular) to drive the design and implementation of scalable, API-centric microservices for enterprise-grade financial systems. You will shape backend services, APIs, and data flows across banking and asset management domains.

You will mentor teams, ensure robust test coverage, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and DevOps to optimize OpenShift pipelines in a hybrid Porto-based setup.

Qualificações

• 9+ years of software development experience on enterprise-scale platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Java/Kotlin, Spring Framework, REST API design, Kafka, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Solid experience with Angular for API integration and UI components.
• Strong understanding of DDD, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, automated logging, and distributed monitoring.

Your main responsibilities:

• Define and evolve scalable, API-centric, microservices, and event-driven software architectures.
• Champion and implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Design and build high-performance back-end services using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Lead REST API development, ensure clear contracts, versioning, and security standards, and develop automated batch workloads via Spring Batch.
• Ensure rigorous unit and integration test coverage across back-end and front-end modules.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor development teams.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to optimize delivery pipelines on OpenShift.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 9+ years of software development experience with proven leadership as a Senior or Lead Developer on enterprise-scale platforms.
• Expert-level knowledge of Java / Kotlin, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, Spring Security), REST API design, Kafka, SQL databases, and MongoDB.
• Solid working knowledge of Angular for API integration, UI architecture, and component development.
• Strong understanding of architecture patterns including DDD, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, automated logging, and distributed monitoring.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or additional expertise in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks.
