Morson Edge (Technology) is seeking a Senior Mobile Architect to shape the long-term mobile platform and align architecture with energy-efficient, connected HVAC solutions. This is an opportunity to work on a long-term product, influence technical strategy, and lead architectural decisions across the mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the long-term mobile architecture and technical strategy.
• Balance technical debt with feature delivery, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Design robust integration architectures between mobile applications and connected hardware.
• Establish engineering standards, code quality practices, security controls, and testing strategies.
• Break down complex technical requirements into deliverable work packages for development teams.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development teams.
• Maintain architectural documentation, ADRs, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of mobile application development experience with a strong background in software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Flutter, or strong experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or React Native and a desire to become a Flutter expert.
• Solid understanding of mobile architectural patterns, state management, and code governance.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, managing technical debt, and leading architectural initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Product Owners and technical leaders.
• Experience breaking down complex systems into scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Experience with BLE or NFC communication.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
