We are hiring a Land Surveyor to join our growing team in Almada.

Overview

As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for performing surveys and mapping of land areas to determine accurate boundaries and locations for construction and development projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed according to plan.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site surveys and collecting data using GPS equipment, total stations, and levels.
• Analyzing survey data and preparing detailed reports, maps, and drawings.
• Interpreting plans, blueprints, and other documents to determine project requirements.
• Collaborating with project teams to establish accurate boundaries and locations for construction projects.
• Conducting research on land records, property boundaries, and historical data.
• Performing calculations to establish property lines and elevations.
• Utilizing CAD software to create accurate survey maps and drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations while conducting surveys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in land surveying or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency in using GPS equipment, total stations, levels, and other surveying tools.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other mapping programs.
• Familiarity with industry standards for surveying methods and techniques.
• Excellent mathematical skills for conducting calculations accurately.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with project teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $1200 per month.
