Job summary

Side is seeking a Localization QA Game Tester to join our team in Portugal. You will review localized text, images, and UI to ensure accurate, culturally appropriate, and error-free localization across platforms.

This entry-level role focuses on identifying linguistic issues, ensuring consistency, and collaborating with a global team to deliver high-quality game experiences. You will work onsite from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Portugal business hours, with full training provided and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Fluency in Korean and conversational in English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
• Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
• Robust Internet research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global project team.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
