Capgemini Engineering is seeking a data engineering professional with a focus on semantic technologies to design RDF data models, map data to ontologies, and develop Python pipelines for RDF generation. You will validate semantic relationships and collaborate with domain experts to ensure accurate modelling.

Strong Python skills and experience with RDF stack are required. The role offers hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to contribute to knowledge-graph applications in AI and analytics

Qualificações

• Academic or professional background in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or semantic technologies.
• Strong Python programming and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL and RDF graph databases.

Responsabilidades

• Design RDF-based data models, schemas and reusable semantic structures.
• Map data to controlled vocabularies and ontologies.
• Develop Python pipelines for data transformation and RDF generation.
• Define semantic relationships, identifiers, provenance and evidence.
• Write SPARQL queries to explore and test knowledge graphs.
• Implement automated semantic quality checks and mapping validation.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate domain concepts into models.
• Produce documentation on mappings, modelling decisions and validation rules.
