Talan is looking for a Junior Release Manager in Coimbra, Portugal, to join a dynamic technology team supporting complex software delivery for a major international client. The ideal candidate will manage release activities, ensure the reliability of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, and work within Agile frameworks. Qualificações

• At least 2 years of professional experience in Release Management, DevOps, or related roles.
• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and release processes in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across multiple environments.
• Ensure stable and efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate on infrastructure automation using Ansible and Python.

Conhecimentos

Agile frameworks: Scrum and Kanban

Git version control and branching strategies

CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions

Scripting languages: Ansible and Python

Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, or C++

Quality assurance tools and quality gate implementation (SonarQube)

Automated testing methodologies: TDD and BDD

Networking fundamentals and load balancers (Nginx, F5, DNS, SSL certificates)

Monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, OpenTelemetry)

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
