Ciena is seeking an Associate Services Project Manager to help deliver customer services projects within networks. You will work under a Senior Project Manager in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

You will coordinate timelines, budgets, risks, and communications, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery across multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization. A structured, solution-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (must have).
• Relevant project management experience preferred (up to 12 months).
• Ability to analyze problems and generate solutions with sound judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project implementation activities within customer networks.
• Ensure project scope, schedules, deliverables, quality objectives, and service margin targets are achieved.
• Analyse project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, and execution approaches.
• Identify, schedule, and track deliverables, milestones, tasks, and project communications.
• Document and communicate project status, risks, obstacles, and resolutions to management.
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Customer Operations, Sales, Bid Management, Service Delivery, Finance, and other stakeholders to achieve project and financial objectives.

The must haves:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Up to 12 months related project management work experience strongly preferred.
• Application of critical thinking and analysis to evaluate multidimensional problems and generate solutions.
• Application of judgment and decision-making across multiple alternatives.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization involving multiple stakeholders.
• Utilization of Microsoft Project and Salesforce project management tools.

Nice to haves:

• Certifications: PRINCE2 or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience: Experience working in a matrix organization and demonstrating influencing and collaboration across multiple teams.
• Application of technology, services, and business concepts in a project environment.
• Business judgment applied to complex business issues.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
