Guardian Secure Services in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our software team. You will design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications, write clean code, and collaborate with teammates to deliver features on tight timelines.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in CS or related field, have 1–2 years of Java experience, knowledge of OOP, and are comfortable working in Agile environments. Familiarity with SQL databases and Spring is a plus.

Junior JAVA Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. This is an urgent job opportunity with an attractive salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop and implement new software features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JAVA programming language
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
• Ensure software meets functional requirements and quality standards
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in JAVA development
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns
