Job summary

WYgroup Inc. in Lisbon is seeking an iOS Developer to build the next generation of mobile apps and implement features according to client requirements.

You will join a team of 5 iOS developers, working with Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI, integrating RESTful APIs, and using modern iOS tooling. Experience with MVC/MVVM, Core Data and unit testing is valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Swift and UIKit; familiarity with SwiftUI.
• Understanding of MVC and MVVM design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and URLSession or Alamofire.
• Dependency management via Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods.
• Experience with Git workflows (commit, push, pull, branch).
• Basic Core Data knowledge for local storage.
• Unit testing with XCTest.
• Familiar with Xcode, debugging and simulator usage.
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Your main responsibilities will be related with the development of new features and product improvements according to our client’s requirements.We are looking for apple fans with experience in iOS development to join our mobile team and help them grow.Join a team of 5 iOS developers dedicated to developing and maintaining a app.Proficiency in Swift: Ability to write basic Swift code and understand more advanced language structures.Knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI: Experience in creating basic interfaces with UIKit and ideally some familiarity with SwiftUI.Understanding of MVC and MVVM: Knowledge of MVC and MVVM design patterns and the ability to apply them in simple projects.Consumption of RESTful APIs: Experience integrating backend services through RESTful APIs, using URLSession or libraries like Alamofire.Dependency management with Swift Package Manager and/or Cocoapods: Ability to add and configure dependencies in a project.Experience with Git: Familiarity with basic Git workflows, such as committing, pulling, pushing, and branch creation.Core Data handling: Basic knowledge of data persistence using Core Data for local data storage and retrieval.Knowledge of unit testing: Basic understanding of unit testing with XCTest and motivation to write testable code.Familiarity with Xcode: Comfortable using Xcode, with basic debugging, performance analysis, and simulator usage knowledge.Experience with agile methodologies: Familiarity with agile environments (like Scrum or Kanban), including participation in sprints and stand-up meetings.
