Flyper in Braga is seeking a Junior Game Developer to assist in developing and implementing new game ideas, features, and mechanics, working with the senior team on high-quality games that players find visually appealing and engaging. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience, a passion for gaming, and strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Unity or Unreal Engine experience is a plus, and visa sponsorship is provided for international

Junior Game Developer

As a Junior Game Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of new game ideas, features, and mechanics. You will work closely with the senior development team to create high-quality games that are visually appealing and engaging for players.

This is a full-time position located in Braga, with a starting salary of 1100$. We welcome applications from individuals without prior experience in game development, as long as you possess the necessary skills and passion for gaming. We also provide free visa sponsorship and travel arrangements for international candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the senior development team to brainstorm new game ideas and features
• Assist in the design and implementation of game mechanics, levels, and user interface
• Code gameplay elements using industry-standard languages such as C++ or Java
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure a smooth gaming experience
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our games

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
