PwC Portugal is seeking a Junior Data Governance Officer to strengthen our Data Governance practice in Matosinhos. The role focuses on collecting data requirements, ensuring traceability, and supporting remediation actions from external audits.

You will collaborate with the Data Governance team to maintain process registers, align with GDPR/RoPA practices, and contribute to governance improvements within the organization.

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of data management practices and frameworks (DMBOK).
• Understanding of data regulations and compliance requirements, including GDPR, RoPA, and other EU data regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and collect missing or incomplete data requirements documentation across technological products, ensuring full traceability and follow-up of remediation actions from an external audit perspective (ISO, QMSE, etc.).
• Contribute to the Data Governance Community by preparing meetings, coordinating stakeholders and presenting governance topics.
• Support team members in the completion and maintenance of the Process Register and related Data Management documentation.
• Participate in defining and structuring organisational change initiatives related to Data Governance principles.
• Collaborate with other Data Governance team members to support operational activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance processes.
