Job summary

Quadrante in Portugal is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer – Industrial Hydraulics to join our team in Alfragide, contributing to hydraulic design for industrial projects and ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal standards.

You will prepare calculations, specs, drawings, and reports; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; support planning and execution to meet deadlines; and grow in a globally oriented engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; hydraulics or water resources preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in hydraulic design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; Revit knowledge valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop Industrial Hydraulics projects, ensuring client requirements and regulations are met.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, specifications, drawings and reports for industrial projects.
• Support design and optimization of engineering solutions for technical and economic efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of disciplines.
• Assist in project planning and execution, meeting established deadlines.
• Review project documentation and contribute to quality control processes.
• Participate in development and implementation of technical tools, methodologies and best practices.
• Provide technical support during project development and execution phases.
