India Abroad Publications Inc. is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our Porto team. The role involves assisting in the design, construction, and maintenance of civil projects, with hands-on experience for fresh graduates or entry-level professionals.

You will support engineers, inspect sites, prepare documentation, and ensure safety while learning industry practices in a collaborative environment. Accommodation is provided for this position.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the design and development of various civil engineering projects
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
• Prepare reports, drawings, and other documentation related to project progress
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
• Use software and other tools to analyze data and make recommendations for project improvements
• Communicate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues that arise during the project
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations on construction sites
