Job description

As a Junior Barber you will be responsible for providing quality haircuts and grooming services to clients You will work closely with a senior barber to learn and develop your skills in mens grooming techniques customer service and barber shop operations You should have a passion for hair styling and an eagerness to learn and grow in your profession

Key Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts beard trims and other grooming services to clients
• Assist senior barber in daily tasks such as cleaning and maintaining tools preparing workstations and managing appointments
• Greet clients warmly and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
• Learn and adhere to proper health and safety guidelines for barbershop operations
• Keep up to date with current trends in mens grooming techniques
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored services

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a barbering program or apprenticeship preferred
• Ability to obtain a cosmetology or barbering license within the first 6 months of employment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and tools
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
