Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment in Lisbon is hiring a Junior Architectural Designer to assist in design and development of architectural projects, including detailed drawings and plans, site visits, and collaboration with engineers, contractors and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and is proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and building codes. Strong communication, independence, and teamwork are essential; Portuguese language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other design software.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques and building codes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience on residential or commercial projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles.
• Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
