Metyis in Porto is hiring for an early-career AI/Software professional to help develop and test AI solutions across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with data teams to prepare foundations, refine prompts, and translate business needs into practical AI workflows.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data science, data engineering, AI, or related field.
• Basic to intermediate programming skills in at least one modern language; Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and basic software engineering practices.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, or generative AI through projects.
• Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and related data concepts.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn quickly and collaborate.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI solutions across lifecycle stages.
• Work with central and local data teams to prepare data foundations for AI use cases.
• Support the implementation and testing of prompts, context strategies, and related techniques.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases and workflows with senior guidance.
• Research and experiment with new AI models, tools, and frameworks and share findings.
• Contribute to the development and testing of AI agents and orchestration workflows.
• Document AI solutions, methodologies, prompts, experiments, and learnings for reuse.
• Assist the team in monitoring AI solutions and implementing improvements based on feedback.
