Metyis is growing our AI Solutions Engineer Analyst team at the Porto Digital Campus. We seek a hands-on engineer with 1–2 years in software, data, or AI fields to develop, test, and optimize AI solutions across the lifecycle, including data foundations, RAG pipelines, and knowledge management.

You will work with central and local data teams, translate business needs into AI use cases, and experiment with new models while collaborating with experienced data and AI professionals.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data science, data engineering, AI, or a related technical field.
• Basic to intermediate programming in at least one modern language; Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and basic software engineering practices.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, or generative AI.
• Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and connecting AI models with external data.
• Awareness of current AI landscape including LLMs, multimodal models, AI agents and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly and collaborate.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development, testing, and continuous improvement of AI solutions and products across lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with data teams to prepare data foundations for AI use cases.
• Assist in implementing and testing prompts, context strategies, and AI techniques.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases and workflows.
• Research and experiment with new AI models, tools, and frameworks; share findings.
• Contribute to development and testing of AI agents and orchestration workflows.
• Document AI solutions, methodologies, prompts, experiments, and learnings.
• Monitor AI solutions and implement improvements based on feedback and performance.
