Job summary
Octo Health is building a React Native app for iOS and Android, powered by AI. As a Junior AI Engineer, you’ll ship features, experiment with AI agents, and turn AI outputs into clean, maintainable code inside the product. You’ll join a small founding team, learn from senior engineers, and own tasks with autonomy.
0–2 years of experience and hands‑on RN projects are welcome. Fluent English is required, and a startup mindset with curiosity about AI will help you thrive in this fast‑moving
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience (internships, academic and side projects count)
- Hands-on React Native experience you can show (personal app, thesis, internship)
- JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals valued
- Real curiosity about AI and experience with LLM APIs or agents is a plus
- Startup mindset: ownership, speed, comfort with not having all answers on day one
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features in the React Native app, for iOS and Android
- Experiment with AI agents and LLM-powered features, and turn the ones that work into real product
- Curate AI outputs into clean, maintainable code (not spaghetti with good intentions)
- Learn from senior engineers who actually have time to mentor you
- Step in wherever needed. Adaptability is the job.
