🖥️ About The Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our fast‑paced and talented team to enhance and expand the Nutrium platform, which bridges dietitians and patients. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Product team and be part of the Engineering team, contributing to the implementation of new features and improving existing ones. You’ll also explore and apply AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows, and provide an even better experience for our users.

This role is a great fit for someone with experience in AI or software engineering who’s eager to grow, experiment with emerging technologies, and make a tangible impact on a product used by thousands.

You’ll have room to explore emerging AI technologies, from LLMs and RAG systems to generative AI models, and find the opportunities in our products to apply AI in a way that solves real problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy AI‑driven solutions to enhance Nutrium’s platform and internal workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI‑powered features and systems for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with our Product team and engineers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Leverage emerging AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG architectures, and generative models to create innovative solutions that address real‑world challenges.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives to strengthen team practices.

Who You Are

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge or interest in AI/ML, with Python skills.
• Familiarity with frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) and cloud‑based deployment.
• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, or other generative AI models is a plus.
• Curious and eager to experiment, exploring how AI can bring value to real‑world workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, teamwork, and proactive communication.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
