Jobbex IT in Portugal is seeking a Java Tech Lead to join a client project. You will act as the technical focal point, guiding a team and shaping cloud-native microservices architectures.

You will mentor engineers, drive clean code, CI/CD and best practices, and ensure alignment between development and enterprise architecture from design to production. Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise are essential, with experience in distributed systems.

Qualificações

• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience with active-active, geo-distributed, highly available systems.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data consistency patterns.
• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth2/OpenID Connect).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong technical leadership, communication and mentoring skills.

Responsabilidades

What you'll be doing:

• Act as the technical focal point and provide technical leadership to the team.

• Contribute to high-availability, active-active and disaster-recovery strategies.
• Mentor engineers and maintain technical documentation.

You'll be a great match if you have;

• Strong Java expertise and solid Spring Boot experience; Spring Cloud is a plus.
• Proven experience with microservices, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with active-active, geo-distributed and highly available systems.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data consistency patterns.
• Solid understanding of API/application security, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
