SkillOnNet is seeking a skilled Java Software Developer to join our Backend Engineering team in Lisbon. You will design, develop, and enhance our backend platform, delivering robust and scalable solutions that power our igaming products and services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve performance and reliability of the technology stack, participating in design reviews and implementing best practices. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits you in Portugal.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
• Solid understanding and practical application of software design patterns and best practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications in multithreaded and concurrent environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.
• Proven experience with the Spring Framework ecosystem, including Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully within cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge, contribute to team success, and support colleagues when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
