Job summary

Inetum in Portugal is seeking a Java Developer to drive maintenance and evolution of enterprise applications. You will work on REST services, Oracle/Sybase databases, and Angular front-end work within an Agile team, contributing to testing and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities include code reviews, on-call production support, and mentoring peers, with cross-team collaboration across onshore and offshore groups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and REST services in enterprise apps.
• Database experience with Oracle or Sybase.
• Hands-on with Agile software development.
• Frontend technologies and testing capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance and evolution features and fix defects.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality.
• Engage with BA, Test and production support teams.
• Participate in Sprint Planning and agile ceremonies.
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams.
• L3 production support and non-production environment maintenance.
• On-call support during evenings for NYC and weekends for releases.
• Mentor teammates and set technical direction.
