Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Java Developer to join our team in Lisbon. You will develop, validate, and deliver Jira Java development tasks, participate in code reviews, releases, and team meetings, and ensure code quality while identifying vulnerabilities and improvements.

Additional responsibilities include debugging, understanding business processes, and delivering solutions within an international context. Fluency in English is mandatory and collaboration is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java Core, Collections, Mutythreading, Streams.
• Experience in JMS, SQL, linux bash.
• Experience in CI/CD scope, java build tools, debugging and profiling tools.
• Experience in Algorithms, Problem solving.
• Python, C# (Plus).
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and productive environment.
• Capacity for critical analysis and focused on solving blockage points.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deliver required Jira Java development tasks
• Actively participate in codereview, releases, and team meetings
• Be responsible for code quality and clearence, look for vulnerabilities and suggest improvements
• Be ready to debug the code to investigate the issues
• Become familiar with business processes and understand the flow.
