Decskill, an IT consulting company, is seeking a Java Developer to join our growing team in Portugal. You will develop, validate, and deliver Jira Java tasks, participate in code reviews and releases, and help ensure secure, high-quality software.

You will work in a collaborative environment, tackle debugging, learn business processes, and contribute to long-term projects with national and international scope. Fluency in English is mandatory, and experience with JMS, SQL, and CI/CD is valued.

Qualificações

• Experience in Java Core, Collections, Multithreading, and Streams.
• Experience in JMS, SQL, and Linux Bash.
• Experience in CI/CD scope, java build tools, debugging and profiling tools.
• Algorithms and problem-solving abilities.
• English fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and deliver required Jira Java development tasks
• Actively participate in codereview, releases, and team meetings
• Be responsible for code quality and clearence, look for vulnerabilities and suggest improvements
• Be ready to debug the code to investigate the issues
• Become familiar with business processes and understand the flow.

Requirements:

• Experience in Java Core, Collections, Mutythreading, Streams.
• Experience in JMS, SQL, linux bash.
• Experience in CI/CD scope, java build tools, debugging and profiling tools.
• Experience in Algorithms, Problem solving.
• Python, C# (Plus).
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and productive environment.
• Capacity for critical analysis and focused on solving blockage points.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
