act digital is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join an Agile team focused on evolving and maintaining critical backend solutions. The role is based in Alfragide, Lisbon, with a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office).

You will develop new features for Java backend applications, troubleshoot issues, design technical solutions with autonomy, and maintain Oracle database logic, while mentoring juniors and contributing to Agile ceremonies.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with Java back-end development (Core/SE).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience reading, adapting, and developing Oracle Stored Procedures.
• Good understanding of Java EE architecture and specs (EJB, JMS, JPA, CDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS).
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with Git and Maven.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Develop new features and enhancements for Java backend applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement fixes for identified issues.
• Participate in design and implementation of technical solutions with autonomy.
• Develop and maintain Oracle database logic.
• Mentor and code-review junior team members.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and task estimation.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards.
