A global software engineering company in Portugal is looking for a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Shopify integration. This full-time position emphasizes backend development, API design, and mentoring skills. Qualificações

• Strong experience in backend development using Java and Micronaut.
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs.
• Mandatory Shopify experience.
• Knowledge of API Design & Integration, including OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications.
• Experience integrating systems with Shopify and understanding Shopify integration patterns.
• Experience with testing practices and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, including: Domain‑Driven Design (DDD); Event‑driven architecture; Development of reusable components (e.g. catalogue validators).
• Ability to contribute to architectural decisions, API design and technical delivery.
• Experience mentoring and supporting other developers.
• Shopify experience is mandatory.
