Decskill, an IT consulting company with a strong local culture and global Astek Group ties, is seeking a Java Application Architect to shape and govern software architecture across projects. The role is hybrid, based in Lisbon with 2 days on site per week, and involves guiding teams to deliver architecture-aligned solutions.

You will work on microservices, cloud-native patterns, and API ecosystems, while ensuring security, governance, and quality.

Qualificações

• Experience with application and microservices architecture.
• REST APIs published via OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
• Docker and cloud-native architectures required.
• Hybrid work model in Lisbon, 2 days/week onsite.
• Nice-to-have: GDPR knowledge and good level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Define the functional and technical solution architecture.
• Produce implementation-ready technical specifications.
• Ensure the development team implements the solution according to the architecture.
• Ensure compliance with architectural, technical, security, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

We are looking for an Java Application Architect!

Responsabilities:

• Define the functional and technical solution architecture.
• Produce implementation-ready technical specifications.
• Ensure the development team implements the solution according to the defined architecture.
• Ensure compliance with architectural, technical, security, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience with application and microservices architecture.
• REST APIs (OpenAPI).
• AsyncAPI.
• Docker.
• Cloud-native architectures.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon (2 days/week onsite).
